Andrew Norton leads senior executive appointments in JFE’s Victorian practice. He specialises in Education including Higher Education, TAFE, Providers of Pathways, VET, VCAL, RTO/GTO, School and Not-for-Profit sectors.

Andrew has over 25 years’ experience, gained over a period of 16 years with an international, publicly listed search and selection company, managing business units in London, Sydney and Melbourne. Prior to joining Jo Fisher Executive, Andrew was a Director of a boutique search company in Melbourne where the key focus was providing clients in Australia, Asia and Europe with access to the best talent locally and off-shore.

Andrew has provided retained executive search services to a wide variety of sectors over the course of his career, specialising in the identification, assessment, appointment and transition of academics, executive managers, and senior level executives. Search assignments have included Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Executive Dean, Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director and Associate Director appointments and Heads of School. Highly experienced in the identification of key talent, locally and internationally, he draws on a wealth of practical experience to assist and advise executives and senior academics transitioning to new opportunities and, often, new locations.

Andrew received an Honours Degree in Arts from Oxford Brookes University in the United Kingdom, and a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from Oxford University.
