Carol Watson

Carol Watson, Managing Consultant, focuses on senior executive and academic appointments in the Education, Government and Community Sectors. She leads the Senior Consulting team in the Education practice at JFE.

Through her unique ability to engage both clients and candidates on a professional and personal level, and up to the minute sector knowledge, Carol’s widespread respect within the Education sector is well-deserved and acknowledged.

Carol is well known for her passion for education, and for her far reaching respected networks in government, universities and the VET sectors.

Working from both Melbourne and Brisbane bases, Carol manages national and international executive search assignments encompassing roles at Dean, PVC, DVC and VC levels, Heads of School, Principals, Directors, and executive levels in government. Carol’s experience base spans universities, TAFEs, private vocational education and training providers and schools, as well as Government at state and federal levels across Australia.

Prior to joining JFE, Carol held a number of positions, including the Global Human Resources Director for a large Australian human services company, Human Resources Director at RMIT University; the Human Resources Director at Griffith University; Assistant Director of Human Resources in Education Queensland. Carol has also worked at ANTA in policy roles and at the institute level in South Australia, Queensland and Victoria.

Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Adelaide and a Graduate Diploma in Group Work (University of South Australia).
