Dean has 20 years’ experience, gained in Financial & Professional Services. He has extensive knowledge of financial markets and the key challenges facing mid and large tier corporations across the sector. He also maintains a keen interest in the correlation between the cognitive psychology of senior executives and their contribution to enterprise performance. He consults to his clients around the importance and validity of defining, assessing and developing fundamental leadership competencies, and an executive’s capacity to create highly effective and sustainable teams.

Dean commenced his Financial Services career at ANZ Bank, 18 years ago. His executive search career extends more than 12 years throughout which he has held key leadership appointments. He lead the Melbourne Financial Services practice for a NASDAQ listed search and selection firm. He was later appointed General Manager, and held an advisory position to the board of directors, for an ASX listed firm whilst overseeing their Victorian Executive Search practice across Government, Commerce, Financial & Professional Services. Dean has consulted to numerous clients in the sector for C-level, Senior Leadership and Non-Executive Director appointments.

Dean received a Bachelor of Business in International Trade from Monash University. He has also partially completed a Grad Dip in Applied Finance & Investments from FINSIA.
