The University of Otago, New Zealand's top ranked university for research quality, is seeking an internationally recognised academic leader, with expertise in International Management preferred, to join the Department of Management within the School of Business.

With a record of world-class research and teaching, the successful candidate will provide strong academic leadership in one or more areas of Management.

With a PhD or equivalent, the ideal candidate will have a track record of eminent scholarly research, with evidence of a substantial international reputation, including: an active research agenda, an extensive and current record of publication in top international journals, and demonstrated ability to generate external research funding.

The appointment offers the opportunity to assume appropriate leadership responsibilities at the Department, Division and University levels.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with an energy and enthusiasm for their research and teaching that will serve as an inspiration to others. The right individual for this role will also have the capability and willingness to potentially serve as Head of Department at some time in the future.
