Jo Fisher, Managing Director and Founder, has an extensive background in leadership based executive search nationally and internationally. She is highly experienced in leading and managing the most complex and challenging search assignments at CEO, Board Director, Vice Chancellor, and Senior Executive and Academic levels across sectors including Top 200 publicly listed corporations, all three levels of government, healthcare, education and not for profit organisations.

Jo is the Founder and Director of the Jo Fisher Group of companies which includes Jo Fisher Executive Search (JFE), Catch Recruitment, and Executive Auditions, and JFE celebrated its 10th successful year in business in 2012. Prior to establishing JFE, Jo was an Executive Director with a top five global executive search firm, and earlier held roles including Director of a national management consulting firm, Executive Director of a new research centre at Monash University, and National BD Manager for a leading Australian technology company.

Jo Fisher is a Director on the Board of IMD International Executive Search International, of which JFE is the exclusive Australian and New Zealand Partner firm, she is the Chair of the Deakin University Graduate School of Business MBA Advisory Board, and a Director on the Board of the “technology for social justice” social enterprise, Infoxchange Pty Ltd.

Jo holds a Master of Business Administration from Deakin University, a Graduate Certificate in Management (Deakin), and is a Graduate and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Jo is recognised in Australian business and academic circles as having a passion to assist clients seeking to diversify their response to gender, age and culture in their executive workforce.
