Jo Fisher, Founder and Managing Director of Jo Fisher Executive (JFE), established the firm to provide a genuinely innovative, fresh, authentic, expert advisory service to assist in the appointment and retention of the very best people to key CEO, executive and academic positions.

Today the firm operates across Australia and New Zealand, undertaking international and Australian executive search assignments for Government, Healthcare, Education and Industry based clients. Jo leads a team of 15 full-time and 8 part-time staff who undertake executive search assignments at Chief Executive, General Manager, Director, Vice Chancellor and senior executive and academic levels.

Prior to establishing JFE, Jo was the Executive Director of a top tier global executive search firm, and has previously been a Board Member and Director of a national management consultancy, and the Executive Director of a Research Centre at a major Australian university.

Holding an MBA with a major in human resource management, and postgraduate qualifications in Management, Jo is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), and a member of the Women Chiefs of Enterprise. An Honorary Fellow at Deakin University, Jo is presently on the academic advisory board for Deakin University's Graduate Business School.

Jo has a passion to assist clients who seek to diversify their response to gender, culture and age in their executive workforce.
