Jo Fisher, Founder and Managing Principal of Jo Fisher Executive (JFE), established the firm in 2002, to provide a genuinely innovative, fresh, authentic, expert advisory service to assist in the appointment and retention of the very best people to key C-Level, executive and academic positions. Over the past seven years, Jo has continued to attract an outstanding team of experienced executive and leadership Advisors who guarantee the firm’s solid reputation for ‘next generation executive’ solutions.

Jo’s commitment to a standard and level of service which consistently exceeds client expectations, has surprised and delighted clients and candidates who retain JFE as long term partners and advisors. Through a philosophy of trusted and open communication, transparency of process, commitment to diversity, and a “no stone unturned” approach, Jo has led the firm in successfully completing more than 360 senior executive and academic appointments.

Jo specialises in CEO and C-level searches, and key leadership roles. Over the past twenty five years she has developed a far-reaching network of leaders and professionals, and has a passion to assist clients who seek to diversify their response to gender, culture and age in their executive workforce.

Holding an MBA with a major in human resource management, and postgraduate qualifications in Management, Jo is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD), a Member of the Australian Institute of Management, and Women Chiefs of Enterprise. Prior to establishing JFE, she was the Executive Director of another top tier global executive search firm. In the early nineties, she was a Board Member and Director of a national management and technology consultancy, and the Executive Director of a Monash University Research Centre, co-authoring two textbooks in this time. Her earlier career was in general management and technology with multi-national corporations. She is presently on the academic advisory boards for RMIT University’s Business Information Technology School and Deakin University’s Graduate Business School. Jo is an Honorary Fellow at Deakin University.

Jo leads and manages executive search assignments at Chief Executive, General Manager, Director, Vice Chancellor and senior executive and academic levels, and oversees the firm’s growing national and international Leadership Advisory practice.
