Jo Fisher
Jo Fisher, Founder and Managing Director of JFE, specialises in leading executive search and advisory assignments across a broad range of industry, education and government sectors.
Never content to simply ”move the chess pieces”, Jo is renowned for her fresh, innovative and rigorous approach to attracting outstanding individuals from diverse backgrounds to consider and to be considered for Chief Executive, General Manager, Director, Senior Executive and Senior Academic roles. Based in the Melbourne office, she oversees the firm’s growing national and international Search and Human Capital Advisory Practice.
Prior to establishing JFE, Jo’s roles included the Executive Director at a top tier global executive search firm, a Board member and Director of a national management and technology consulting firm, the Executive Director of a new Research Centre at Monash University, and the Principal of a boutique management consulting firm specialising in business and technology integration.
Jo supports fund-raising efforts for the Breast Cancer Network of Australia, is a member of the AICD, AIM, Women Chiefs of Enterprise (WCEI), and is also on the academic advisory boards for RMIT University’s Business Information Technology School and Deakin University’s Business School. Jo is an Honorary Fellow at Deakin University and holds a Graduate Certificate in Management and a Master of Business Administration with a major in Human Resource Management from Deakin University.
