Liz Jones specialises in executive appointments at the most senior levels across all sectors and has a specialisation in the Retail & Consumer sectors. Liz adopts both a tenacious and pragmatic approach to providing advice to trusted and long standing clients and is skilled in both advertised search and executive search and has assisted many clients in recruiting highly skilled candidates.

Prior to joining Jo Fisher Executive, Liz spent 12 years as a Senior Consultant with a large international Executive Search firm and was responsible for managing the Retail/FMCG practice. Liz undertook and successfully completed roles such as; General Manager Merchandise, General Manager Marketing, Country Manager and General Manager HR whilst managing more junior consultants and also the needs and requirements for the Melbourne office.

Liz entered the recruitment sector 15 years ago with a national recruitment firm. Her initial foray was recruiting in the Information Technology sector as this built on her acquired skills within the industry and she went onto expanded her portfolio initially into Retail and then more broadly into FMCG over the subsequent 10 years.

Liz has enjoyed a career spanning more than 20 years in senior roles in both the Recruitment and Corporate sectors. After commencing her career as a Graduate at IBM Australia she advanced to a Sales & Marketing role with IBM specialising in marketing to the manufacturing sector across both software & hardware. After four years with IBM, Liz's career moved onto another iconic organisation Lend Lease Employer Systems. Liz accepted a role as the Account Manager for several large clients including; Toyota, ICI & Sportscraft. This role gave Liz an excellent understanding of both HR & Payroll services and the nuances of managing large and complex clients.

Liz holds a Bachelor Arts (BA) from La Trobe University and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Deakin University.
