Maria Kharsas, Senior Consultant, focuses on executive and academic appointments in the Education, Government and Community Sectors.

With an intricate knowledge of the issues facing individuals undergoing career transition and the strategic challenges confronting companies experiencing organisational change, Maria brings a holistic and personal approach to executive recruitment and candidate consultation. Based in the Melbourne office, Maria has managed search and consulting assignments at General Management and Senior Executive level in major corporate and government organisations, along with Professorial and Head of School roles in education.

Maria has enjoyed a diverse career encompassing consulting and counselling, with roles including senior recruitment consultant with a number of executive recruitment firms. She also provides counselling, life coaching and career consulting services to individuals undergoing ‘life transition’.

Maria holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Melbourne, a Diploma in Holistic Counselling Practice and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment.
